Concrete Footings are the basic item that you need to create a Foundation.

Above are some Pictures of a Footing Before the Concrete is Poured.

Some Building Materials Needed To Construct A Footing.

2"x12" Planks As Needed
2"x4" Spreader Every 4 Feet
#16 & #8 Nails As Required
Perferated Banding Various Lengths
Reinforcement Steel If Necessary

Steps:

  1. Layout with Pins & String. Place Long 2x12 Planks along side the String. Also Reinforcement Steel & Keyway if Required.
  2. Nail all the Corners together. Nail the Spreaders to the Planks. Allign all the Corners and Planks to the Layout String.
  3. Nail the rest of the Planks & Spreaders together. If Necessary Nail the Keyway in Place and Tie All the Reinforcement Steel.
  4. Calculate the Concrete Needed. Call the Concrete Truck. Place The Concrete. If Winter Apply Winter Protection.
  5. Above You Will Find some Pictures of a Footing After the Concrete is Poured and Stripped. Enjoy!

Concrete Walls are the Main item of a Foundation and A Foundation is the Most Important Part Of a Building.

Above are some Pictures of a Foundation Wall Before the Concrete is Poured.

Some Building Materials Needed To Construct A Foundation Wall.

2ftx8ft Forms As Needed
Steel Ties to Length Every 24in x 16in
#16 & #8 Nails As Required
10ft 2x4 Braces Every 8ft
Reinforcement Steel If Necessary

Steps:

  1. Layout with Concrete Nails & Chaulk Line. If Reinforcement Steel is Required Place & Tie all Reinforcement Steel.
  2. Start in the Corners put in Ties Latch Forms Together. After 2 Sets of Forms Make Sure Both Ways Are Level.
  3. Place the Rest of the Wall Forms, Stageing to Walk On, Chases, Inserts, Windows, Beam Pockets, Etc.
  4. Calculate the Concrete Needed. Call the Concrete Truck. Place The Concrete. If Winter Apply Winter Protection.
  5. Above You Will Find some Pictures of a Concrete Wall After the Concrete is Poured and Stripped. Enjoy!
